Sir Thomas White aids Young Entrepreneurs

If you're a young entrepreneur then why not contact The Sir Thomas White Loan Charity, founded by one of the city's most generous benefactors, Sir Thomas White in 1542.

The charity offers interest free loans, up to a maximum of £12,000 for a period of nine years, these become repayable by equal instalments after three years.

To be eligible for consideration for a loan you must be over 18 and under 35, your business must be based in Leicestershire or Rutland for the duration of the loan and you must supply a business plan which demonstrates that you have a good understanding of the business you intend to set up.

The Sir Thomas White Loan Charity is an equal opportunities organisation providing loans for new business start-ups and young business, up to 18 months old, requiring further investment. Recent businesses assisted by the charity include a coffee house, florist, landscape gardener, interior designer and a nursing home, to name but a few.
